Skim Milk is the solo project of Sam Davidson, a contemporary clarinetist and producer from Vancouver BC. Skim Milk reaches across technologies and eras, from Bach to Boards of Canada, often citing soulful drum grooves, whimsical clarinet melodies, and antique piano riffs. Originally beginning as a production project in 2012, Skim Milk has since moved to the stage, surprising audiences with his compelling sound and new wave clarinet tactics. He is a member of Canadian band Brasstronaut and inter-arts emsemble SpaceMelt. Sam plays Legere Reeds exclusively.
