“The Day Will Come
Sssnap: Granville Johnson (vocals, lead djembe) with special guest artist Kenan Bear (rhythm djembe), presents an uplifting musical experience in rhythm, song, and spoken word dedicated to living with… while dying of… Dementia. Granville lives with Alzheimers: early stage, diagnosis 2016. Granville is the 2019 Alzheimers Society Regional Honouree in Prince George, BC. Granville “lives toward acceptance” of the unique opportunity that the disease has placed in his life. His mission is to speak-up for those who can not. Through his art he shares this experience; in order to shed some light on Dementia and the self-isolating stigma that it generates and propagates throughout our society.
