Performers / Workshop leaders
As a multidisiplinary arts festival we are always seeking out new and exciting performances and workshops to offer our audience. Past non-musical performances have included fire spinning, juggling, stilt walking and puppetry, but we’re always open to new forms of expression. Workshops range from laughter yoga to classical bass technique, mini journal making to kung-fu, radical folk history to gospel singing. Whatever you do, come and share it.
You can download the application here. It can be faxed to 250-994-3433, mailed to Box 65, Wells BC, V0K 2R0 or emailed to artswellsfestival@imarts.com. Don’t forget to include a digital promo photo.
Visual Artists
Another component of The ArtsWells Festival is our visual ArtWalk which showcases local and regional artwork around the festival site. ArtsWells is soliciting for innovative art projects/installations to be carried out/presented at the festival. We are looking for projects in any media that can be displayed in the spaces we have available. These spaces include many outdoor locations, and some indoor locations. We welcome proposals that are interactive, innovative, performative, experiential, educational and any and all things art. The only limitations are the spaces and equipment that we have. Download the proposal form below. Deadline to apply is May 1.
