Katie Sage is a queer, uninvited guest, who has the opportunity to live, work and play
on the unceded Songhees (Lkwungen) & W̱SÃNEĆ (SENĆOŦEN) Territories. They are
currently the Program Director at CFUV 101.9 FM, and formally the curator for the
Ministry of Casual Living, artist run centre. Katie has been producing and overseeing
podcast production at CFUV for 4 years. Podcast Workshop Synopsis
Join Katie Sage, Program Director at CFUV 101.9 FM to learn about what it takes to
make a podcast. The questions we will be looking at: How to create and develop stories
that are generative rather than extractive, what equipment to use, how to get good tape,
how to organize your story, what your team could look like.
This workshop is accessible and open to anyone with any level of experience. The
workshop aims to share knowledge and skills, and invites open opportunities for
collaboration.
